Introduction
IOIUSB's presents the 5-port PCI to USB 2.0 host adapter, IOI-4501, which is 40 times faster than USB 1.1. IOI-4521 complies with USB Revision 2.0 and OHCI (Open Host Controller Interface) specification for full/low-speed signaling, and Intel's EHCI (Enhanced Host Controller Interface) specification for high-speed signaling which can work up to 480Mbps.
IOI-4501 takes full advantage of the newest USB 2.0 devices including hard drives and CDRWs. IOI-4501 is simple and easy for adding USB to desktop PCs which have no USB ports, or existing USB systems which need high speed (up to 480Mbps) connections. It is also fully backward compatible with existing USB 1.1 devices and allows you to connect USB based printers, modems, speakers, scanners, and hundreds of other devices. The installation is easy without complex setup guide, confusing plug-ins, or IRQs. The device connectivity is up to 127 USB products to your PC. Its plug-and-play and hot-swappable features run smoothly under Windows 98SE, Millennium Edition, 2000, and XP systems.
