Introduction

U3S222-PCIE1XG201 is a USB 3.0 & SATA to PCI Express Gen2 Host Bus Adapter.

The U3S222-PCIE1XG201 complies with Universal Serial Bus 3.0 Specification, and Intel’s eXtensible Host Controller Interface (xHCI).

The U3S222-PCIE1XG201 uses a PCI Express bus interface, and it is applicable for PCI Express solutions with host PC systems.

The U3S222-PCIE1XG201 supports data transfer up to 5 Gbps when connecting to USB 3.0 compliant peripherals, while maintaining compatibility with existing USB peripheral devices.

The SATA host port is designed to emulate Removable Disk Drive that handles and operates like a traditional tape drive and FDD, yet has all of the advantages of disk to disk backup. It also supports write-protect function which provides a most easy way to protect the data content in HDD without performance suffer. Users can read the data but cannot write, change, alter, or damage the raw data.
